This boathouse on Lake Simcoe is the epitome of an indulgent retreat just 1 hour north of Toronto. Here we've combined a ShadeFX canopy with a roll blind to make the pergola patio hospitable right into the evening in spite of the western exposure.

Heavy winds off the lake are easily managed by the ShadeFX outriggers which are located on the top face of the canopy wings. This is the best way to resist the strong updrafts that happen when the winds hit the steep shore and are directed upward.
