This spectacular pergola is on the 5th floor terrace of one of the most exclusive condominiums in Toronto. It is made of ipe (pronounced e-pay) wood which is very dense and durable to the elements, and the ShadeFX canopies were selected specially for their strength and resistance to wind.

When operating the manual cord, the action can be mistaken for raising the mainsail on a small racing sailboat. The rope, fabric, and batten and block sounds made during operation exude quality and tradition. These canopies will see significant wind loading on a regular basis.

Note the drive ropes are both located on the same post. One canopy was ordered with a left drive rope exit, and the other a right drive rope exit.
